We stopped in New Orleans for some live jams, San Antonio for soul food and Tucson for $2 cowboy boots and lots of delicious fish tacos.

From Miami to Los Angeles: 2,000 miles, 4 stops, dozens of panoramic views. Ramona NY and Ramona Mia headed West in order to make sure Ramona Mia arrived safely at her new hometown LA. That’s right! No more Ramona Mia… From now on we’ll call her Ramona LA!

My find of the day: LIFE magazine from July 18th 1969, with an article about one of the new Communes at that time in the U.S and beautiful photos by John Olson, who photographed some of the biggest rock n’ roll musicians from the 70’ like Frank Zappa, Donovan and many more.
